Goulburn Mulwaree Council is reviewing its Community Engagement Strategy, in line with Section 402 of the Local Government Act 1993, which requires councils to engage meaningfully with their communities when shaping plans, policies, and programs. This Strategy outlines how we’ll connect with you – our residents – to ensure your voice helps guide our decision-making (excluding day-to-day administration).
We’ve made a number of updates to the Strategy, including changes to how we communicate with different community groups, improvements to the use of media, and enhancements to accessibility for those without internet access.
We invite you to review the updated Strategy and share your feedback by completing a short survey (below). Your input is vital in shaping how we continue to engage with you now and into the future.
Consultation is open until 5pm on Wednesday 1 October 2025.
