Council is seeking community feedback on bulky waste collection services through the below survey.
Since the introduction of two free waste disposal weekends in 2018, all residents—including Rural Waste Card holders—have been able to access these weekends. This service has been made available to all residents within the Local Government Area (LGA), regardless of whether they own or rent their property. These weekends are currently funded through both the domestic waste and general waste funds.
The survey will be open from 22 August 2025 to 5pm 26 September 2025. It outlines the options currently under consideration, along with the associated costs for each proposed level of service.
Your input is valuable and will help inform Council's future decisions regarding waste management services.
