Goulburn Mulwaree Council would like to advise it is submitting a grant funding application to the Get NSW Active Program to upgrade the existing pathway located on the north-western side of Leggett Park.
Subject to a successful grant, this Project, when complete, will deliver:
• a 3-metre-wide shared pathway (located further away from adjacent homes than the current path); and
• pedestrian lighting to facilitate safe nighttime use by the community.
The proposed work will provide an important upgrade for Goulburn’s shared pathway network which assists pedestrian and cycling movements across the city.
The outcome of the grant funding application is expected to be known by mid-2025. Council will further consult with the community should project funding be secured.
We would appreciate your feedback in relation to this proposed project.
